We came here twice during our SF trip mainly because it was right by our hotel and actually open at 6 AM (an absolute lifesaver when you're dealing with crazy jet lag). They have a huge menu with tons of sweet and savory options, and you can customize your sandwiches and bagels a million different ways. We tried to keep it (relatively) healthy and skipped the heavier, greasier stuff, but honestly everything on the counter looked amazing. The pastrami and turkey sandwiches were great, and the breakfast bagels (we did one day with bacon, one day without) really hit the spot. Good coffee too ❤️ Prices are pretty standard for the US right now. Service depends on the day. The guy working our first morning was a bit grumpy (but hey it was 6 AM, so I get it lol). The guy on our second visit was more friendly. Loved that they spoke Spanish and had some Spanish music playing in the background (gave it a fun vibe without losing that classic American deli feel). Solid breakfast spot.

I was there a couple weeks ago from Sacramento taking care of business. What a find. I almost made the mistake of grabbing coffee at the Starbucks across the street — so glad I didn’t. I’d placed an online order thinking I was picking up nearby, but it turned out the café was actually three blocks away. The man working the counter (I believe the owner) caught the mix-up, called the other location to cancel my order, and remade it fresh for me on the spot. That kind of service is rare. Walking in, I realized the online menu barely scratches the surface. The in-store dessert case is incredible — a beautiful spread of Turkish (I’m not quite sure lol) and Greek sweets? Way more than what’s listed online. Their latte and sandwich options are more extensive in person too, and I tried the pistachio organic latte — something you will never find at Starbucks. It was so good. Lesson learned: skip the online order and just walk in. I left with eight desserts to bring home, and the owner even gave me a discount for the larger order. Our go-to spot in SF for bagels and coffee before the hustle and bustle of trade show mornings. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s plenty of seating, making it a perfect place to enjoy your food and a drink before the day gets going. Highly recommended!

Really good roast beef sandwich and lots of other options. The fresh lemonade is FANTASTIC. They have a restroom for customers and WiFi. And it’s conveniently located downtown. Love this small business.
